This industrial building was an early project for us here at VDB.
Pastor Banjo and his congregation were extremely helpful throughout this project, and requested VDB to convert this old industrial building into a church fit for purpose in the modern age.
The timescales for this project were very short, due to the need for members of the congregation to access the building in time for Christmas.
The external works for this project included replacement of asbestos roof sheets, and the subsequent installation of insulated roof panels. Asbestos was also removed from within the internal structure of the building.
The internal parts of the building required extensive electrical works, as well as plastering, painting, lighting, and heating systems to be installed.
The 16-week programme of works was achieved ahead of schedule in under 9 weeks.
We are very proud to have Pastor Banjo and his congregation as clients. This project was a unique challenge that we undertook and are extremely happy to showcase in our build portfolio.
